MICHAEL PEARSON RACING #36

PEARSON IN KILLALANE HOTTIES DEBUT

Press Release:

Lisburn rider Michael Pearson will make a guest appearance for Yorkshire based Team Hotties Thermal Packs at the end of season Killalane Road Races in North County Dublin next month.
Team Hotties Thermal Packs, who ran with English rider Jamie Coward at the beginning of this year, first approached Pearson at the Cock Of the North Races in Scarborough, when Michael rode their 600 Suzuki in the two Supersport 600 races.

After a brief consultation with Michael at the Scarborough meeting, Team Hotties then offered Michael the use of their machinery for the Killalane races which Pearson gladly accepted.
For the Killalane Races, Pearson will be equipped with the Team Hotties Thermal Packs R1 1000cc Yamaha Superbike, and GSXR 600 Suzuki.   In addition, Pearson will also be riding the Rod Lee ER6 Kawasaki Supertwin, with Pearson eagerly awaiting next months races.

Michael Pearson:  "This is a fantastic offer which I cannot turn down, and I am grateful for Team Hotties Thermal Packs, and Rod Lee Racing for putting their faith in me to ride their machines at Killalane.   There has been rumours that I will be riding for Team Hotties Thermal Packs and Rod Lee in 2013, but that is all that it is, pure speculation.  The deal is to ride the bikes at Killalane, and that's what I will be doing.   I am still committed to my current Sponsors and i will not be making any other plans outside of this season.   If there is a position within the Team Hotties Thermal Packs in 2013, then I will sit down with all my sponsors and discuss what is the best way forward for us all.    Killalane is one of my favourite circuits as it is where i won my first Road Race, in the Superbike class, which coincidently, was on a R1 Yamaha in 2009.    I really hope that I can put on a good show for Team Hotties Thermal Packs and Rod Lee Racing, and maybe even get onto the podium in one of the races".

Willis Marshall:  (Pr/Manager)"Life is full of surprises I guess, and with this year passing us by relatively quietly in that we struggled with lack of finances to fund our own racing, this then pops up.   This is a wonderful opportunity for Michael to be riding for such a high profile Race Team, and I hope that both Team Hotties Thermal Packs, Rod Lee Racing and Michael can gel together at Killalane, and hopefully beyond.     Everyone knows just how difficult this year has been, so to be given this golden nugget, is almost to good to be true, and we are grateful for all concerned to have offered Michael this guest appearance at Killalane".
